Equations and inequalities; polynomial functions and graphs, exponents, radicals, binomial theorem, zeros of polynomials; systems of equations; exponential, logarithmic, and inverse functions, applications and graphs. Other topics selected from sequences, series, and complex numbers.
Prerequisites: MATH 101 with a minimum grade of “C” or appropriate mathematics placement. Corequisites: MATH 102L Notes: May not be used for credit toward an engineering or science degree (except for Interdisciplinary Sciences-Pre-Professional Health Science Specialization; Interdisciplinary Sciences-Science, Technology, and Society Specialization; chemistry; and associates of arts).
