PHIL 335 History and Philosophy of Science

The course will assess the impact of history and philosophy on scientific innovation and thought, and how the two illuminate the path leading to advances in learning. Emphasis will be the philosophy of science and its historical development and linkages with society from ancient times to the contemporary.
