Notes:
1 Fulfills General Education requirement. Students should consult the “General Education Requirements ” section of this catalog for a complete listing of all general education requirements.
2 The 12 credits of Department Approved Electives must meet the following requirements:
- At least nine credits of 400-level CEE-prefix courses (all 12 credits can also be 400-level CEE). This can include up to six credit hours of CEE 498 Undergraduate Research/Scholarship and up to three credit hours of CEE 491 Independent Study . A list of 400-level courses that fit these criteria can be found below.
- Three of the 12 total credits can include the following:
- Three credit hours of CP 497 Cooperative Education
- Three credit hours of 300, 400, 500, or 600 level courses in engineering, science, math, or computer science.
3 Three credits in any engineering, math, science, or computer science course excluding basic introductory courses, such as: CHEM 106 , CHEM 106L , CSC 105 , MATH 21 , MATH 101 , MATH 114 , MATH 114L , MATH 115 , MATH 116/116L , MATH 120 , MATH 205 , PHYS 111 , PHYS 111L , PHYS 113 , or PHYS 113L .
4 Select three credits of courses with a Social Science prefix (see gen ed Goal 3 for approved prefixes) or three credits of courses with a Humanities prefix (see gen ed Goal 4 for approved prefixes). All must be at the 300 or 400 level.
5 Three-credit version required for major.
