Notes:
1 Fulfills General Education requirement. Students should consult the General Education Requirements section of this catalog for a complete listing of all general education requirements.
2 The electives in this degree consist of three categories:
- Upper Level Science Electives: Select 12 credits with a Biology or Chemistry prefix at the 300 or 400 level. Other approved/recommended courses appear below.
- Upper Level Humanities/Social Science Electives: Select 6 credits of courses with a Social Science prefix (see gen ed Goal 3 for approved prefixes) and at least 3 credits of courses with a Humanities prefix (see gen ed Goal 4 for approved prefixes). All must be at the 300 or 400 level.
- Free Electives: Select any courses to complete the 120 required degree credits. Can be from any discipline and any number level between 100-400.
3 The Physics requirement must include two lectures and at least one lab, for a total of seven credits. Courses must be selected from: PHYS 111 , PHYS 111L , PHYS 113 , PHYS 113L , PHYS 211 , PHYS 211L , PHYS 213 , and PHYS 213L .
4 Only one credit required for major.
