CENG 242/242L Digital Systems/Lab

Presents tools and concepts for the analysis and design of complex digital systems. Students will learn to design CPU-based digital systems and prototype them using a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). Students will learn to create custom devices to interface with industry standard system buses. VHDL is introduced as a design tool.

Prerequisites: CENG 142/142L and CSC 115
