MATH 116/116L Engineering PrecalculusCredits: (4-1) 5
A preparatory course for engineering calculus, focusing on core prerequisite mathematical concepts and the development of active learning and study techniques. Topics include algebraic and graphical properties of polynomial, rational, trigonometric, logarithmic and exponential functions, and solving systems of equations.
Prerequisites: MATH 101 or appropriate mathematics placement. Corequisites: MATH 116L Notes: May not be used for credit toward an engineering or science degree (except for Business Management in Technology; Pre-Health; Science, Technology, and Society; Chemistry; and Associates of Arts).
