MEM 480/580 Exploring the Future of Mining

The course will cover the full spectrum of unconventional methods including ocean mining, asteroid mining, landfill mining and solution mining/leaching. The students will gain an in-depth knowledge of these techniques and their application in the critical minerals sector.

Prerequisites: Senior standing
Notes: Students enrolled in MEM 580 will be held to a higher standard than those enrolled in MEM 480.
