CBE 486 Immuno-Engineering

Credits: 2 or 3

This course is taught in 3 parts. Part I is required and provides adequate and relevant background in components and functions of the immune system. Part II covers current topics in the field of immuno-engineering including nanotechnology, vaccine development and cancer therapy.Part III focuses on understanding of fluid transport in cells, tissues and organs, and advanced modeling applications associated with transport of agentsviablood and lymph to immune system.

Prerequisites: BIOL 151 , (CBE 218  or BME 304  or CBE 318  or BME 305 ).
