CSC 429 Data Engineering

This course provides an introduction to the tools and techniques in Data Engineering. Students will be introduced to the basics of relational databases, SQL, how to clean and manipulate large data sets, learn the basics of cloud-based tools and containers, and design and develop applications using the common industry tools to manipulate, analyze and perform computations on large data sets.

Prerequisites: CSC 340
