BIOL 714 Phytochemistry: Theory and Application

This course is an in-depth analysis of the special processes and chemical pathways present in photosynthetic organisms resulting from their unique metabolism. How these processes contribute to the development of the organisms from which they originate as well as how they can be utilized for the benefit of humans in agricultural, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical applications is examined.
