DSE 559 Introduction to Data Science

This course will provide a hands-on introduction to Machine Learning and Data Science, developing familiarity with fundamental concepts and common programming tools including Python, Jupyter notebooks, numpy, scipy, sci-kit learn, and Keras. The course will include a number of projects, with a focus on practical implementation through concrete working examples. Topics will include both initial data pre-processing methods as well as supervised and unsupervised classification.
