Elective requirements

This program requires a total of 18 credits of elective coursework to be selected by the student in consultation with the student’s advisor or advisory committee. The program of study must meet these criteria:

• At least six credit hours of the 18 electives must be graduate coursework with a CEM prefix.
• No more than 3 credit hours may be CEM 691  or CEM 791 .
• At least 15 credit hours of coursework must be at the 600 level or higher.
• Undergraduate courses (400 level and below) will not count toward graduation.

Examinations

No final degree examination is required for the non-thesis option. Individual courses may hold final examinations as part of the course.
