Occupational Safety Minor

The minor in occupational safety is offered to students pursuing any B.S. degree program.

Application Procedures

Students should contact the program coordinator for the application procedure and appropriate forms.

Certification Check

Once an application is filed, it is included in the degree audit form.  It is the responsibility of the student’s advisor to certifiy certification completion along with the final degree audit.

Thus, a total of at least 21 credit hours is needed for an occupational safety minor. A minor in occupational safety must be approved by the student‘s major department and the minor coordinator on a form available at the Office of the Registrar and Academic Services. 1 Projects must be pre-approved and have significant safety content.
