GEOL 322/322L Structural Geology/LabCredits: (3-0) 3
An introduction to the development and interpretation of geologic structures. Topics include the theory of rock deformation, description of structures in 3-dimensions, interpretation of structural evolution, geologic map reading, and plate tectonic drivers.
Prerequisites: (GEOL 331/331L and GEOL 341/341L {GEOL 341/L may be taken co-requisitely) or MEM 314/314L . Corequisites: GEOL 322L Notes: Students pursuing a BS in Geology must earn a grade of “C” or higher in GEOL 331/331L to meet prerequisite requirements for this course. A grade of “C” or higher is required in this course for graduation with a Geology, BS .
