Notes:

For the bachelor of science in Computer Engineering, a student must have a departmental grade point average of at least 2.00 in all CENG/CSC/EE courses 300 level or higher.

Course requirements for the program also include the total number of credits per course. To meet the 98 required credits of the major, any student that has an approved course for transfer will fulfill the course requirement, but if the transferred course does not meet the total credit hour requirement then the program committee will decide on the proper accommodation for meeting the total credit hour requirement. Students should consult with their advisor to get clarification on the necessary accommodation.

1 Fulfills General Education requirement. Students should consult the “General Education Requirements ” section of this catalog for a complete listing of all general education requirements.

2 Must have a “C” or higher to move to the proceeding course.

Any regular CENG, CSC, or EE 4xx/5xx course may be used toward the CENG senior electives requirement with the exceptions of CENG 463 /CSC 463 /EE 463 , CENG 467 /CSC 467 /EE 467 , and CENG 448/448L/548/548L .  A maximum of four (4) credits of CENG 491 /CSC 491 /EE 491  , CENG 492 /CSC 492 /EE 492 , and/or CENG 498 /CSC 498 /EE 498  may be used toward the CENG senior electives requirement if a written request presented by the student is approved by the EECS faculty. The student request must justify that the CENG design requirement is met.

Three credits from the following list: CHEM 112 CHEM 114 , MATH 373 MATH 382 MATH 432/532 MATH 471 , PHYS 225 PHYS 275 PHYS 331 , and PHYS 341 .
